Road To Hope
The Road to Hope symbolizes the grief journey law enforcement survivors must make after the loss of their officer. Surviving family members and co-workers often experience debilitating grief after the sudden, and often violent, death of their officer. C.O.P.S. provides survivor conferences during National Police Week and yearly survivor-specific support retreats, and state chapters provide local on-going support for survivors who find hope knowing they do not have to make their grief journey alone. The foundation of the C.O.P.S. organization is strong peer-support, one survivor reaching out to another survivor during the difficult times that accompany grief. It is through this peer-support network of one survivor reaching out to another survivor that helps each of us begin the Road to Hope. Join Team Arizona LEU for the Road to Hope. Surviving co-workers and family members from Arizona will participate in the 240 mile bicycle ride to raise funds for Concerns of Police Survivors and the Officer Down Memorial Page. For more information and how you can support the riders, please visit http://teamarizonaleu.com. Concerns of Police Survivors, Arizona Chapter commits to being there to help you, your family, and your officer’s co-workers as you travel this Road to Hope.
