YOUNG ADULTS CAMP
Excursion-type experiences
Next Event: July 24th – 28th, 2023
C.O.P.S. Young Adults Camp
Growing up without a parent or an older sibling can be difficult for teenagers and young adults.
At C.O.P.S. Young Adults Camp, campers will be roomed in cabins with other attendees their age. This will encourage them to bond with peers who can truly relate and understand what they are going through.
These survivors will have the opportunity to meet licensed mental health professionals for group counseling sessions, providing them with tools to take with them into their future for continued healing. They will also get to participate in fun and challenging activities while surrounded by a family of fellow survivors.
Our goals are for campers to learn new ways to process their grief, to make lasting friendships, and to leave feeling supported.

What to Expect
Growing up without a parent or an older sibling can be difficult for teenagers and young adults. Young Adults Camp encourages independence, as it is the first step for surviving minor-aged children to attend a program without the presence of their parent/guardian. Young Adults Camp also allows a first look into C.O.P.S. Hands-On Programs for minor-aged siblings.
This camp will give these survivors the opportunity to meet licensed mental health professionals who support them by facilitating specifically designed sessions and providing tools for them to take with them into their future for continued healing.
At Young Adults Camp, campers will be roomed in cabins with other attendees their age. They will also get to participate in fun and challenging activities while being surrounded by a family of peers who can truly relate and understand what they are going through.
