Concerns of Police Survivors — Rebuilding Shattered Lives

Arizona business owner runs marathon in police gear for C.O.P.S.

Steve Jurca, tri-athlete and small business owner (Summit Communications), ran the Rock 'n Roll Marathon in support of C.O.P.S. Arizona and law enforcement.  For 26.2 miles, Mr. Jurca stapped on 25 extra pounds, including a Safeguard bullet proof vest (http://www.safeguardarmor.com) - the approximate equivilant weight officers carry on a daily basis.

He finished the race is 5:49:00!  C.O.P.S. Arizona is extremely proud of Steve and his efforts to show appreciation to our chapter and law enforcement. He has been appropriately coined as "The C.O.P.S. Guy" - and will continue to participate in marathons and raise funds for C.O.P.S. AZ.
